7-0
This past Friday was about as much as the nerves can handle. Our opponent was Topeka High and they came ready to play and ready to hand MHS their first loss this season. MHS has already captured the league title and the game against Topeka High was the first round of district play. Althought T-High took a 30-13 lead MHS came back for the 44-36 victory. This Friday MHS will face Washburn Rural and it is sure to be a tough game (probably the toughest this season). I know I am already nervous so I cannot imagine how Joe and the players are feeling right now. I just keep telling myself one week/game at at time. ROLL TRIBE!!!

Congrats! We're always happy to see another W next to Manhattan in the Cap Journal. Those are great shots of the game, too! Did you take those yourself?
DD: nope those pictures were "borrowed" from our local newspaper website.
