IT IS RODEO TIME . . .
This past weekend my nephew, Isaac, participated in the Kansas State University Rodeo in the team roping event. I told Kira and Keenan on Saturday we would go and watch Isaac. Kira was beyond excited and told her friends at school she was going to the rodeo. When Joe picked Kira up she immediately asked him if her friend Mitchell could go to the rodeo with her. I could not find Kira's school directory so I could not find a last name for Mitchell. When I asked Kira what Mitchell's last name was she replied, "Hmmm, I think it is just Mitchell." After some searching I found his last name and phone number and Mitchell accompanied Kira to the rodeo. It really was a good time. Kira, Keenan and Mitchell had a great time. It was great to see Isaac in action as we hear so much about his love for rodeo but we do not often get to see him when he competes.
Since Keylee's birth in November it has quickly become apparent to us that we have outgrown our home. Last weekend Joe and I decided we should explore the idea of selling our home. By Thursday afternoon, the "For Sale" sign was in the yard. On Friday morning I received a call from our realtor's office and they wanted to schedule three showings. I frantically prepared our house for the showings. Unfortunately, the weekend is coming to an end and we do not have have any offers to purchase our home. Keep your fingers crossed and hope for a quick sell.

Today is the first day for my "blog" Jen Salmans (Miss Creativity) told me to start one and insists that it is so easy. Last night, another friend, Julie Keenan was over and helped me get started. Hopefully over time I can get better at this. Sorry about this initial posting as I know it is boring. Consider it a test and we'll see how it goes from here.
