What a relief . .

The long anticipated first game for Joe as the new head coach for MHS Indians. I can only imagine how nervous he was as I know I was super nervous. It was a great game and it went all the way until the very end. Yes, there was not any time left on the clock when MHS scored the game winning touchdown, beating the #2 ranked team in 6A. The opposing team's crowd was immediately silenced and the MHS crowd was in a roar. Joe had some family come to the game to cheer him and the Indians (which is one of the pictures above). I spent the day in KC shopping before the game (I decided to celebrate in advance with some shopping knowing MHS would pull out the win, at least that is the way I am going to explain my purchases to Joe).

Well done, keeping the game exciting until the very end... that would make for some good TV. Now I am anxious for Friday Night Lights! I wonder if the shopping before the game needs to be part of the game day routine to keep the wins coming?
