PINK LAUNDRY RUN

Woke up at 4:30 a.m. to hit to road to KC (Lees Summit to be exact) with Tanna and Debbie to run the Pink Laundry Run. It was a long day but it was a good time. I am sure you are thinking who leaves town to go run when KSU is hosting KU?? And . . KSU wins.

Friday Night Thriller . . MHS STILL UNDEFEATED

The MHS Indians continue to make it happen. The game was 3-0 at half time with MHS leading. Then, Junction City scored in the second half with MHS trailing 7-3. Just when I thought the game was over, MHS did what they have done all season, they made it happen. With the clock winding down and basically no time left, our quarterback hurled a pass into the endzone with Manhattan to come away with a touchdown. It was quite a night. MHS now continues undefeated at 9-0; the Silver Trophy is back where it belongs; MHS is Centennial League Champs and District Champs and will host the first round of playoffs next week.

MANHATTAN vs. JUNCTION CITY . . . Enough said?

A lot on the line in MHS-Junction City clash
It is a HUGE game for MHS tonight. MHS is 8-0 going in to tonight's game. A win tonight will give MHS league title, district champ title and an extended season into the playoffs. A loss could end the season for the MHS Indians. If MHS does lose but it is seven points or less they will still go to the playoffs (complicated and wacky playoff system that very few people really understand). If you are local I hope to see you at the game. The Indians will appreciate all the support they can get.

Kira's favorite part was definitely the pony rides.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!

Today I decided to clean out the toy room. Once I got started I could not believe the toys my children have. I decided I would gather all the small toys that go with larger toys and partner them back up. This was a HUGE task!! I seriously spent five long hours working in my basement today. I feel like it was a productive day but now I look back and wonder. . . . where did my weekend go? Next stop, closets.

Kira's first Sleepover

Kira has been begging for a sleepover. I finally let her have one. The girls had a great time. They played so great together and only stayed up until 10:30 p.m. which is my kind of sleepover.
