Happy 4th of July (a little late)

Happy belated 4th of July!! Kira and Keenan wore a hat I picked up in NYC a couple summers ago. Keylee was not about to put on the hat. She is not a fan of fireworks and pretty much wanted the day and noise over.

HEY . . . BATTER . . . BATTER. . .

Kira had her second softball game of the season tonight. She went 4 for 4 at bat (scoring each time) and played some good defense. She is having a lot of fun and learning a lot.

Keenan is so excited to finally be able to play ball this year. He is on the Orange Crush from St. George (as he is not quite old enough to play Manhattan Optimist t-ball).

Keenan's favorite thing about t-ball is definitely the shirt. He wants to wear it for days at a time and constantly looks in the mirror at his back to see his name on the back of his shirt. He was so excited to tell me that he is "number one."

Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon

This past weekend a few friends and I headed to Oklahoma City to run the Oklahoma City 1/2 Marathon. The picture below is at the packet pickup. It was really an amazing event. I cannot imagine how many volunteers and time it must take to put on such an outstanding event. Here we all are at the memorial. They have really done a great job with the memorial. They call the Memorial Marathon "A Run to Remember." I will post more picture of the memorial later.

INTRODUCING . . .

Briggs Daniel Williams: proud parents are my niece Shelbie and her husband Daniel. My sister's daughter, Shelbie, just had her first child. My sister and her husband, Greg, will be terrific grandparents and Shelbie is lucky to have her parents and Daniel's parents living so close. During Shelbie's pregnancy I continued to wonder whether my children were ready to share their Aunt Tam Tam. However, it appears there is enough Tam Tam love to go around and I hope Baby Briggs knows how lucky he is. Congratulations Shelbie and Daniel you will be great parents and we can't wait to meet Briggs!!

My Next to New Purchase: Some of you may be wondering where I decided to hang my recent purchase from the Annual Junior League Next to New Sale: I told many people that I would hang my purchase in my office. So, what do you think?????

SWIMMING LESSONS

Kira and Keenan are both in swimming lessons. Keenan loves to jump off the diving board but he still insists on wearing a life jacket. Kira, on the other hand, has started jumping off the diving board without a life jacket.

Keylee found Keenan's hat. She loves to take Keenan's and Joe's hats off and put them on her head.
